sounds interesting...im kind of a n00b with that stuff, but this is basically like a gigantic pedal am i right? I have a hartke 3500 amp, can I use the behringer V-amp and run it through my hartke? or am i just sounding like an idiot! ha sorry.

No, you're not sounding like an idiot. That is exactly what you can do. To make things easy, I'm pretty sure your Hartke has preamp in and outs. Just check out the link I provided to the behringer site and find the online manual. It should help you wrap your head around how this thing works. Thanks.

I have the guitar version of this unit and I have patches for my basses on it. It sounds great. I have it hooked directly to my computer and control it with MIDI. I can create and store all my patches with the computer and literally never have to touch the unit. If I had 100 bucks free I'd buy it just to have one for bass.

My Bass V-Amp Pro is 4 years old and still going strong. I'm still discovering good new sounds in the dang thing. Like Scott, if I had an extra c note laying around I'd buy it to keep in the studio. I wouldn't mind having a second one.
