I am the original owner. Letting this go for $650 OBO. Local p/u preferred. I had lost the power cord (wal-wart) and bought one but the connector did not fit. Had a tech splice one and also had a broken power switch replaced. Will upload pics later. I had the cord and switch fixed about a month ago but I could not put it up for sale right away 'cause I was enjoying it too much LOL.

Exactly right. I will upload pics maybe later tonight or tomorrow. The unit is in fine working order. I have played it for many hours since the fix.

There is a paint nic on the left side rear. Does not affect the working of the unit in any way.
The picture on the right shows the Kern turned on to verify the power cord works.

This is the back of the unit. The tech said that was the only connector he had in the shop that fit. If you find a better looking connector you can splice it yourself. Seems like an easy fix.

The switch that was replaced looks kinda odd. But it's difficult to tell from the photo.

Yea it does because it's a 4-connector thingy and only one of the connectors fits the Kern. I'm sure a handy person can find a single connector and splice it to replace the 4. I wasn't too fussy because the connector is at the back and people wouldn't see it on a gig. The unit works fine.

What do you have to trade BTW? I am really looking for cash to finance a Ken Smith 6.

He's talking about the switch, not the plug. The preamp's got a different power switch than the others.

What "battle damage" happened to require a new switch? I notice there's some lost paint across the front too.

:) Yep you're right. From a few feet away you really do not notice the different switch. Bottom line is the unit works fine. I would discount the price due to the cosmetic "enhancements". Regarding the nick at the BACK...I scraped it against a piece of furniture awhile back. Again, the nick is at the back of the unit and does not affect it's operation in any way.
