Hi,

A few months back I was in the throes of selling my Fodera due to the continued progress of my arthritis.

A Talkbass-er was very interested in doing a deal but at the last minute the deal broke down, my fault entirely. I accidentally deleted all the correspondence and now, embarassed shuffle, can't remember who it was . It seems the arthritis is getting my brain too.

So if it was you and you're still out there I would really like to catch up with you at some point.

Cheers

Nick

The last two show the couple of little dings picked up over the years,it has been played !! , the level of zoom gives you some idea how small the marks are I hope.

I'm still vacillating on this a bit so get me while I'm weak :D

Yes - she plays really well, big deep sound and very articulate from what remember. Sorry to hear about the hands, I hope the WT is getting some play time.

As I've told you so many times, I wish I could take it from you, Nick! That's a dream bass.

Sorry to hear of the hands getting worse. I hope your other basses will work better for you.

This bass is beautiful, I'm sorry to hear about the Arthritis man, that's a drag. Just curious though, what's the scale length, 36"?

Hey Andy

The hands I'll get around and thanks for your kind words. The scale is indeed 36". Currently I'm down at 33" and finding that more comfortable.

that bass is beautiful!

no volume knobs?!?!

It's actually not that restrictive. My #1 bass (Frankenstein P-bass) has no controls either, just the output. It really makes you approach your tone in different ways (Brighter = near bridge, warmer = near neck) and makes you play way more dynamic. And as far as volume, that's what feet are for. I have a mute (tuner) and a vol pedal in my wah. I use my hands to play bass. Not play controls.
