Howdy all. 2006 Fender USA neck with tuners.
Up for grabs is a 2006 Fender Precision bass neck grabbed off a Highway One bass. Its got a March 2006 stamp on the neck and an April 2006 sticker on the heel. I'm guessing thats an inspection sticker. On the back of the headstock there is a 60th anniversary badge (little metal circle)
Anyways, neck is in great shape, and I'm guessing it was hardly played since the frets are smooth and shiny. I swapped the neck on the bass as soon as I bought it here on TB. There are two minor dings on the back of the neck (~4 and 7th frets) that don't affect playable. I had to hold it up to the light to see them.
One pinhead sized ding on the headstock front that I also had to get up close to see, and a few headstock dings in the usual place.
In terms of condition I'd rate this an 8.5/10 leaning towards a 9/10.
Neck has a rosewood fretboard and original Fender tuners in place. It does need a new string tree and a replacement will run you a few bucks.
Neck is for sale at $225 shipped in the US's 48 most important states. If you live farther away, I'll toss in $20 towards shipping and you make up the difference.
