Details

Beautiful 1998 trans-finished solid ash L2500 with bound body.

Killer G&L tone from the huge MFD humbucking pickups. Controls include pickup selector, coil tap (series or parallel), preamp (passive, active, active with treble boost, and volume, treble cut and bass cut.

Often dubbed the Swiss Army Knife of bass, the L2500 is a chameleon that can cop all kinds of great classic sounds from Jazz to Precision to Stingray. There's tonnes and tonnes of tone in these basses, and you could spend a long time getting to know and love all of them.

Disclaimer: this bass originally came from Guitar Man NYC. I got it from Mike Childreee here at TB. The original neck went twisty, and was replaced under warranty. There are no issues with it, but, there ya go. Also, there's a small chip in the finish...see if you can find it in the pics, I'm pointing at it. Otherwise, in beautiful shape for her age.

Comes with nice heavy duty Road Runner gig bag for
$750+ shipping

The bound body is the custom bit on this one.

I can do overseas shipping if you're interested.
I'd recommend either buying a case (I can help if needed) or shipping neck and body seperately.

That thing is nice. If it only didn't have that pesky extra string to confuse me and get in the way. Great deal though.

Goldfish: I had a 67 GTO fer a while, a 69 Z28 after that, then a 65 Shelby...then I got a bunch of tickets and drove an invisible car for a while;)

Wow, that's quite the collection Chef. The Barracuda is a bracket car that's not finished yet but I do have a 70 Ply. Duster340 that has a vicious small block (340) with a four speed and some real deep gears that I used to tool around in regularly. Oddly enough the only speeding tickets I ever got were in my little ford escort that couldn't hardly get out of it's way.
