Ive been playing bass for nearly 40 years and this is the finest quality bass I have owned. It is feels light and my bathroom scale shows it to be around 9 to 9.5 pounds. Sadly, I just can not get accustomed to the 35 inch scale so it sits in the case.
Bass is in excellent condition showing only the most minor signs of use. There is some light surface scratching above the neck PU, and one very slight indent near the horn that is the size of ball point pen tip and won't even photograph. They are hard to see even when looking for them. From 3 inches away it looks mint. Ive seen new instruments in music stores with far more wear. Frets are fine and there is no buckle rash on the back. The ebony fretboard feels superb and the back of the neck is satin smooth with Birdseye figuring. I just had the electronics cleaned by local dealer which eliminated a slight scratchiness of the volume control.
The included hard-shell case shows some wear with scratches, missing metal foot and plastic is cracked around one of the latches, but it still latches correctly. Inside of case is mint.
I will be glad to answer any additional questions you have about the bass. I hope someone who will take care of it buys it and plays it. It is a fine instrument.
