Price drop... See below!

Black sparkle body with matching headstock.

Rosewood board with white blocks/binding.

Ash body.

Passive stock Aero Single coils.

Currently strung through body with S.I.T. XL nickels with a tapered b-string.

35" scale. Unbelieveable B-string and low action. 19mm spacing at the bridge.

3 pickguards included: Tortoiseshell (brand new), blue/grey pearl, and plain white (stock). That's $150 in pickguards.

Weight: A hair above 9 lbs (it was lighter than the Fender V I sold a few months back that was 9.6 lbs).

Condition: Excellent. A couple of swirls in the finish and maybe a minor ding or two but nothing major. I'd give it a very conservative 9/10.

Can come with your choice of a Bodyglove gig bag (excellent protection almost like a hardcase with decent storage) or Mono gigbag (better storage with very good protection but not as tough as the BG bag).

Price drop:
$1100 shipped with Mono bag.
$1000 shipped with Bodyglove bag.
$950 shipped no bag.
$925 shipped no bag and only the white stock p-guard.

Trades: None at the moment as I have something I want to get.
PM me with offers and questions.

Thanks!

FWIW, that 9/10 I listed it as physical condition-wise is very conservative. There are some swirls and that is really about it. Nothing I can get to show up in pics and nothing that is noticeable outside of the right light and angle.

Also note the mono gigbag in some of the pix. The pic with the blue pickguard is in the bodyglove bag.

It's a 2007.

Neck is fine. Truss moves in both directions. Action is very low.

The DJ's do not come stock with pick-up covers.

$75 per pg??

150/3 = 50.

Stock Lakland Skyline pickguards are made by Jeannies as are the two non-stock p-guards I'm including.

Jeannie's pickguards for the tort and blue pearl are $54 + 8 for standard shipping. I think the plain ones (white or black) were $30 or so + 8 shipping if you were to buy one new.

54 + 54 + 30 = 138 not including shipping which they whack you $8. Add in the $24 if you ae buying individually and there you have it.

This stuff ain't cheap.

it did come with one when you bought it, though, correct? this would mean there are only 2 extra pg's instead of an actual cost for the plain white. :)

at any rate, i really like the color...makes it a bit classy. perhaps i should buy this one to go with my chi'd white dj5...i should probably wait til lakland is done with mine, though, lol.

And your point is what?

Two extra pickguards and the stock one so it therefore comes with three pickguards (which Jeannie's charges outrageous amounts for considering it's only plastic and to make things even better are generally kind of rude when dealing with them on ebay) worth approximately $150 in new costs as the thread states.

I'll sell it for $900 shipped with no pickguard if you want.

But what was your point anyway? :eyebrow: :p

because the cost of the bass originally includes the 'insanely priced' piece of plastic that you're including as something extra. that's what i'm trying to clarify. i don't see that 'stock' pickguard as something that should be counted separately...it should be a part of the bass and thus, there are $100 in pickguards included because that's what you would have paid something 'extra' for.

:) pardon my intrusion in your thread. glws

Regardless, I'm only charging an extra $25 if you do want $108 worth of over-priced plastic...

Enjoy your Chi'ed out DJ. Should be cool.

It looks like it's making it's way to Sweden by way of Florida.

I will update if status changes and it becomes for sale again.
