Well, ladies & gentlemen, I had a bit of an epiphany a short while ago and it finally became clear to me that I, as a bassist, am not defined by the basses that I play! Playing ultra expensive boutique basses is very cool, and I'll probably get back into it in a short while, but right now, I wanna go in a different direction! I'm gonna see what I can do with "mid range" stuff...I'm guessing I'll be pleasantly surprised! With that in mind, I'd like to find good homes for a couple of thorobreds in my stable:
MTD 535-24=5-string/35" scale/24 frets S/N #1036(I'm guessing that would make it an early to mid 2000's-'02-'05-Not sure on that though!)
Mahogany body/Chechen top- 9.5lbs
Maple neck/Rosewood fingerboard -19mm string spacing
Bartolini Soapbars w/Bartolini 3-band EQ/Black Hardware
Comes w/MTD hardshell case- $2700obo

Those are stock photos of the bass when I bought it from Planet Bass. Here's one of me playing it...

Pedulla Pentabuzz 5-string fretless=34" scale w/24 "fretlines & dots" S/N# 9287(which makes it a 2007)
Solid Quilted Maple W/Arctic Nite finish/Gold Hardware- 9.7lbs
Maple Neck/Coated Ebony fingerboard- 17.5mm string spacing
Bartolini P/J pickups w/Bartolini 2-band EQ with a Mid-Boost switch
Comes w/Pedulla hardshell case- $2000

you sir have an AWESOME rig... pope pre + acme backline is an awesome thing.

Thanks! The The Pope pre is the one thing that I'd replace if something happened to my rig. I'm using Epifani cabs because I wanted something a bit more portable & versatile(I'm pretty sure my Epi 610 is lighter than my Acme 410!). I might still order an Acme 112 for my acoustic gigs.

Back to bidness...

I just picked up a MM Sterling5 BFR, so I'm set on basses for now and my rig is insane, so I don't need any amp or cabs. What I'm throwing out to the community is make me some offers. I'm not in a hurry to sell either bass, but I'm willing to entertain reasonable offers! Drop me a line folks! Thanks!
