I just picked this one up and have realized that I'm more of a maple guy so it's up for sale or trade. It's in immaculate condition, the only marks are a couple very light surface scratches, mostly under the G string, which are barely noticeable. 2006 model 55-02 that was sent back to the factory and underwent the PLEK process, has the Lakland LH3 electronics, rosewood fretboard, sunburst finish, new battery and relatively new D'addario strings. It was also recently serviced to correct a ground problem, so it sounds better than ever! Comes with nice Lakland gigbag with tons of storage space, and will be thoroughly packed to ensure it's safe arrival. Price is $850 shipped (not looking for trades anymore).

If this is a highjack please ignore....but...what IS the PLEK process? And what is the string spacing?

I can't say since I bought this from the original owner (Phillip Jordan) who sent it back to the Lakland factory to be PLEK'd. What I can say is that it plays wonderfully now, and can be setup very low if desired.

Thanks for the video links swpyne! The string spacing is 19mm at the bridge.
