This bass was made by Tom Clement of Clementbass.com. I had originally took credit for having my guitar player build it because I forgot about Tom and where he was. I didn't know he was still at it AND has a website. My deepest apologies to Tom and anyone else I may have mislead, including Moe. It was not my intent to cause anyone any grief. I just wanted to donate some money to Haiti.
The bass is on of Toms earlier models.

Ok. At X-mas I had given away my Ibby sr200 to a fellow TB'er in need. Suddenly after 9 months I landed a good, secure job. WoW! Karma, go figure...

I will not keep any profit from this sale. All proceeds will go the the HopeForHaitiNow relief fund. I was touched and moved by what I saw tonight on the Telethon. The performances were awesome, and the stories moved my soul.

If you're skeptical, don't be. It's an awesome player and you will be satisfied with its playability and tone. So what if it doesn't have a bridge pickup!
Here's the info of my bass....
This body of this bass is made of Black Limba also called Black Korina with a core of Mahogany and Wenge trim. The plate that surrounds the EMG Select pickups and the cover plate for the rear control panel are made of Peruvian Walnut.
The neck is laminated Wenge, Mahogany and Black Limba. The body and neck have a hand rubbed Tung oil and Qualasole then paste wax finish. This is a soft hand rubbed finish and it does have some little dents in it because the wood is so soft.
The back of the neck is very smooth and your thumb will not stick to it as can happen with some finishes. The fingerboard is Wenge and has been sealed then lemon oiled. I have put mother of pearl dots as guides for the "fret" positions on the fingerboard and on the side of the neck. I installed a dual action allen adjustable truss rod accessible from the tuning peg end.
Newer EMG select pups sound great. It has volume and tone controls. CTS pots. New GHS Pressure wound strings. The bridge and keys are from Allparts.
The tuners have smooth action. The jack is in the side on the bottom. Everything is copper shielded.
LOADS OF MWAH! It is a wonderful playing bass weighing less than 8lbs. Action and intonation is perfect. If you want to give fretless a try and don't want one of the factory stamped out plain models and can't justify spending $2,000 on a botique bass this might be the bass for you.
