Hi all,
I've decided to part with my Bassman 300 and go in a different direction.
This is a fantastic amp, excellent condition and man it's got the power! I took the best picture I could of the only scuffs I could find.
To the best of my research, I belive this is a 2004. The pot dates seem to bear this out as well as it has the small metal 60th anniversery pog on the back (like the ones they put on the back of the tuner head on the basses from that year).
It was just recently serviced by TB'er johnk_10 (talkbass amp guru) had two capacitors that needed replacing and he also checked the 6550 power tubes and re-matched for best push/pull performance. Forgot to mention the power tubes were replaced just before I purchased the amp about 3 months ago, minimal home use since.
If you have any questions about the amp John has graciously offered to answer any questions since he has been intimate with her.
I’m asking $1000 OBO + shipping CONUS only please.
I would consider a clean Ampeg CL in trade but that's it.
