I'm opening this thread back up.
I have come to the conclusion that as beautiful as this bass is, I really want another long-scale fiver and preferably a Z3 or ABII xxx. It is really weird, but I really much prefer the neck profiles of the longer scale Dingwalls, and as beautiful as this bass is, I am just not as physically comfortable on this neck profile.
Even though the scale on my ABZ is clearly longer, thus making notes further apart, and wider because it's a fiver, I am actually still much faster, more accurate and just overall more proficient on it than I am on the Super P profile. I really noticed this on my last gig when I played that interlude bass part for Welcome to Paradise by Green Day. Even though it should have been easier, it just wasn't.
Sooo, my loss will be someone else's gain on this beauty.
I need to have my head examined!! But after much consideration, I've decided to standardize on Dingwall long scales. As gorgeous as this bass is, I have become ultra comfortable with my ABZ fiver and find myself reaching for it all of the time. I really want another long- scale Dingwall five or sixer, and so I thought I would see if there was anyone out there who is dying for an incredible Super series P bass.
This bass is nearly mint. There is not a nick, a ding, a scratch or other blemish on this bass that I can find, anywhere. The only indication it has been played is some nail marks on the pick guard. I have it set up nice and low. It plays and sounds as awesome as it looks.
Trans white ash body with gloss finish
Wenge neck and board
Black hardware
Factory installed Drop D tuner
Tort pick guard for standard P pickup configuration
Baltic Amber pick guard for reverse P pickup configuration

Luminlay side dots
I will add some more pics tomorrow. $2695 shipped (fully insured of course) CONUSA. PayPal is good. It will ship in the original Dingwall branded Levy gig bag.
