Actually I bought my first Milkbox about a year and a half ago. It was in the used section of Guitar Center and if a compressor shows up there, I buy it. I have an old DOD bass flanger that sounds fantastic so I absolutely had to give the Milk Box a go. I was simply amazed by this tone machine, so much so that it replaced a Origin Cali76-TX! Honestly, No BS! ( Look at my threads posted. I sold the Cali76 last May and have been using the Milkbox since) The Origin is a great compressor but the Milkbox has a certain magic that just fits my style playing live.

Also, when I saw your review of this DOD after owning it for awhile, that cemented your credibility beyond a doubt IMO. Now I read every one of your posted reviews.

I got one of Vlad's other Milkboxes and it's my third over the years. Just love the juice it imparts to the sound even though anywhere past noon on the comp knob is too hissy. Totally different from my other favorite, the Accountant, and both are currently on my board.
