I wasn’t gonna be the “weight guy” but every one I’ve picked up was on the “husky” side let’s say. But totally and tonally great basses. I would love to have one. I’ll be 60 in July and if if I’m playing for an extended time, I’m gonna sit on a stool. I’ve earned it.

Hey guys!! Weight it’s 9.7 lbs with my luggage scale... it’s definitively heavier than it looks, but sounds great!!

I can receive a RMI Basswitch IQ-DI, Mesa Subway Plus preamp, Ashdown OriginAL Valve preamp, or a Tascam CD-BT1MKII as part of the deal...

What is overall length of a Zenith?? Looks like it has the neck set deep in body. I play short scale and was hoping these might be usable as nut may be closer to me than say a P bass.

What I am trying to learn is the feel when playing sitting down. The nut seems closer to the body on the Zenith than say to a Fender. The neck is set so deep in the body it looks like a shorter reach to the first fret. So it might be an easier reach for a smaller Person than a typical Fender 34 inch scale P Bass.

Maybe this pic gives you an idea of the dimensions: my Pbass, the Zenith, and my Zon TJ5... all are 34” scale but the P and the Zenith are quite similar

If it was fretless, I'd buy it now. Damn my income insecurity. . . .
