I'll describe both basses and then post pictures later.
Up first:
2000 Modulus Quantum 4
Chechen Top and Fingerboard (truss rod)
Satin neck, satin finish on body
EMG Pickups
3 band eq with sweepable mids
ohsc
couple little dings here and there, i'll post photos. the volume pot is a little scratchy and should probably be replaced. it works fine as long as the volume is turned all the way up. the case has taken a hit or two but that's what cases are for.
i would like $1099 Shipping included. (paypal) i hope you agree but i'm open to offers.
Up second:
1999 Modulus Quantum 6 Sweet Spot
Purpleheart top and Chechen fingerboard (truss rod)
Gloss neck, gloss finish on body
Lane Poor Pickup!
3 band Bartolini pre
ohsc
QUANTUM 6 SWEET SPOT IS SOLD!!
both of these basses are absolute tone monsters.
the 4 string can do it all and was my main gigging bass until two years ago. it's been sitting around since then. i've moved back to 34" scale basses and passive tones. it really deserves to get out more.
the 6 string pains me the most... mainly because i have not even come close to tapping the potential. it's also very beautiful. the sound is amazing. i was thinking about making the bass active/passive because i heard the Lane Poor can get pretty gnarly when sent straight to the jack. that's a project that never happened. oh well. i also have no use for a 6 string bass, even if i could play it.
