This is the last of my four strings. Best precision bass I've ever owned (and the second of this model). It plays, sounds and looks like a classic P bass. This out of all basses I've owned (more than a few) is the one that gets the most compliments on how it sounds. Pretty sure just about every time I've played it out.
MIM 50's classic model with a Nitro finish. 50's big neck, single piece maple and alder body. Perfectly balanced and weighs a comfortable 8 lbs. 6 oz.
A couple of upgrades completed:
-Mojotone 70's Clone P bass Pickup
-Shielded, dead quiet electronics
-Gotoh Res-O-Lite Ultralight tuners
-Pyramid flats (about a year old so they should have around 19 years left in them)
-Thumb rest installed, I mean, seriously? I had to!
I am the original owner. Pet and smoke free home. Case is brand new, never used it. Played it a lot the first year I owned it. So some marks on the body but nothing major or easy to pickup in on camera.
No salesmaney stuff. This is one of those basses. Sounds perfect, plays stupid good. Everything a P bass should be.
Trades? Going all five strings and this guy just isn't getting played. Someone needs to play this. I am open to all fives as long as they weigh less than 9.5 lbs and have 17.5 mm or larger string spacing at the bridge.
