Do you have sound samples before and after changing the electronics?? it would help a lot in making a purchase decision... thank you.

Unfortunately, I do not have either. There is just a ton of possibilities with the new setup, it’s almost too much to list. All pickup positions, active or passive (tone control works on both), bass or treble boost or cut.

Honestly, I found myself almost exclusively playing passive. But the possibilities are endless.

There is a ton of content on the internet for Fralin pickups and nordstrand preamps. They truly are some of the best onboard equipment out there, and I can attest that this setup lives up to that.

If it comes down to it, I can try to get some samples of the current setup at some point. However I don’t have recording gear, so I will be at a buddy’s mercy as to when he could squeeze it in.

Is the headstock logo changed as well? I thought the elites had the “shiny” logo maybe? I like this one. It’s like my beloved deluxe V!

Yeah. When the bass was re-finished, the old finish was completely stripped, which included the decal. I had a decal made, and went with a vintage style decal.
