I have for sale a Fender American Vintage Hot Rod '70s Jazz Bass Electric Bass Guitar Three-Tone Sunburst in overall excellent condition. This bass is Custom Shop quality at less than the cost of a new American Standard Series.
Take a classic Jazz Bass body and add a P-Bass pickup and you have one amazing low-end machine! This Vintage Hot Rod Jazz Bass has all of the features players love from the J, including the offset body and narrow nut width, along side a powerful P-Bass pickup. The individual volume controls let you dial in just the right amount of sound from each pickup, making this one of the most versatile basses available. A modern compound radius fingerboard provides a comfortable playing feel, and the classic Three-Tone Sunburst Nitrocellulose finish couples with the Tortoise pickguard for a look that's uniquely Fender.
The Stock Fender Hi Mass Bridge has been replaced w/ a Fender Vintage Threaded Bridge. I'm not a fan of Mass Bridges. However, the Stock Fender Hi Mass Bridge is included along w/ the Original HSC and Case Cookies.
The bass weights 9.02 Lbs w/ the Fender Vintage Bridge installed and is in excellent condition w/ the exception of markings in the Nitro finish from the Stock Hi Mass Bridge. They can be seen in the Pics below.
