Fender Jazz Lined Fretless in good condition. $425 Shipped. Rosewood fretboard, black with tort p/g. Upgrades include Dimarzio Model J pickups and ABM bridge. Will include original stock pickups and bridge as well as the orginal black pickguard. Plays and sounds great. Includes hardshell case. Only flaws - Small ding in back of body and 2 small nicks in the edge of the fretboard near 12th fret. Playability unaffected. More pics available here -

i think I am interested. I Need to get a couple more hundred bucks to swing the deal, however. What I need to hear about is the spectrum of sound the custom pick-ups provide. I am looking for as close to Double Bass (jazz) sound as possible. I simply haven't played enough high-end instruments to know the possibilities. What can you tell me? Thank you

Hello - The Dimarzio model J pickups are essentially a cleaner step up from the stock Fender pups. A tad more lows and very quiet. Still sounds like a jazz bass. The upright vibe can best be approached using the neck pickup and backing off the tone control. Here's a link to the bass played live if it helps -
