This already rare 21 year old bass was originally owned by a late San Antonio local bass luminary and was offered to me from a friend of ours who just wouldn’t play 5 string. It has 3 cool upgrades that the original owner installed. 1. The Bartolini jazz pups which give it a wonderful variety of tones in its passive configuration. 2. The Badass V bridge and 3. The upgraded string tree both ensure it sounds great all the way down to the low B & help it play pretty effortlessly!!
I’ve documented the scratches, surface marks & dings, all of which are cosmetic and do not affect the function.
Truss rod, bridge, tuners, electronics all work and fret wear is light. I planned on keeping it, but I just have too many jazz style instruments.
