As many of you might know, this bass was stolen from me June 28th 2007 from Fuzzy Bar after a gig there. 4-5 days later the thief went to A Special Money (pawn shop just north of the city) and there it stayed for 14 months, untouched and hidden in the back room till the middle of last month.
This bass has seen less than 8 gigs, and 2 of which being with in the last month. It is in near perfect condition, like the day that it left me at Fuzzy's.
During the 2 months that followed the theft, TB'ers graciously donated and coordinated enough for me to put down and start another Benavente. One thing that I mentioned to those that donated, is if my stolen one returns, I would sell one and repay them.
I decided to keep the SCD6 6-String model.
