I'm not sure I actually want to sell this amazing L-1500, but my L-1000 gets all the play time and I just don't play it enough to justify having it hanging on my wall. It is finished in an amazing translucent green with natural wood binding. This is the best looking G&L I've seen!

Nut is 1-5/8" I think it's a #12 neck, which is one of my favorites. I was told that it's a custom model from 1997, which seems right from the binding and the serial number. Weight is about 9.5 lbs.

Overall, it's in fantastic condition for a 20 year old bass! There is some wear on the edges of the finger board and a decent sized abrasion mark in the finish on the back. Plays and sounds great!

I accidentally marked my other thread as sold, but this is still availablt.

After playing this at practice this week with our new lineup, I'm really leaning towards keeping it. This may be the final bump before I take it off the market.

Hi, is this still available? I know you mentioned you were on the fence- would you say the neck is chunky like an old school P, or a little slimmer than that? Have you had the action really low at any point? (That's how I like it)

I haven't played an old school P in so long that I can't really comment on the neck in relation to that. This G&L is definitely a little narrower at the nut than most P basses, but wider than a jazz. The neck profile is definitely chunky, but I really love it. I haven't had the action really low because that's not the way that I like it.

For what it's worth, with the line up changes that my band has undergone recently, I've been playing this as my primary bass the past couple months and now I'm really hesitant to sell. I had forgotten that I still had this ad up.

Oof... the temptation is strong with this one, but I'm waaayy too broke. Love the wood binding on it too. Someone needs to scoop this up.
