I picked this bass up somewhat recently.
It's like P bass max. So loud and ballsy.
I believe It's from 1990.
Has some chips in the paint in 3 places which are pictured. Otherwise, it's in good condition.
It's a dark red but seems to photograph either lighter (in brighter lighting) or almost black when it's lower.

$750 shipped with the neck removed.

B you sure its 10lbs,, can you check a different bass on that scale if you have one because ive had 5 SB1's over the years and still have a 1996 and ive never had one that heavy my 96 is 8.3lbs they have smaller bodies as you know which usually brought the weight down a couple pounds. But if it is 10 that must be a really tight slab which really has me intrigued on the sound it must be beautiful especially when you back off that V a 1/4 turn...

Yeah, I weighed it on my luggage scale and a regular bathroom scale. Got exactly 10lbs both times.
It's a mean sounding bass. I think that MDF pickup adds something that regular p bass pickups don't have too.

Thank goodness this one sold - it was tempting me but I have enough P style basses.
