Bought the pre in this thread from Greg. Ended up having a hum issue. While in communication with Greg and with Carl, the maker, I did everything I could over several days to troubleshoot it. Ended up sending the pre to Carl at Greg's behest, and Greg refunded the purchase price. Carl was able to fix the issue - a bad ground - and the pre is for sale again. I've moved on and don't feel like buying it twice, but if I do trust that it's fixed.
Carl, the maker, was also responsive and helpful, before and after.

Since this was my first transaction having through Talkbass website, I've realized that I had no careers or credits that sellers can trust me. So, I planned to visit Greg and went to the US, and meeting Greg was just a full of joy. He was really a nice guy with the amazing Wyn bass!!!

I would't hesitate to do business with again, great communication through out the process of buying my prized custom bass. I was very hesitant about selling this bass but I couldn't be happier that it ended up with Greg.

Complications by a bass damaged en-route (Thank you Fed X!)
Greg was so horrified about the situation that he offered a multitude of options, all at significant material expense (loss) to himself !
Greg is the kind of guy that you can ship a 5K bass to on his word alone and ask him to send a check if he likes it. And yes, I mean it.
Greg and I survived baptism by fire and I consider us friends.
