This beast sounds very powerful and versatile.
The Preamp on the Hanewinckel is very particular. It is customized by Bartolini.
It is Volume, Blend, Bass, Mid, Treble that is normal layout, there is a Toggle Switch when the Switch is down the bass is normal all the controls work as is the Layout.
When the Switch is Up it is when the Magic happens, the Blend Knob now acts like a split coil knob, towards the neck goes to Single Coil like a 60’s Jazz Bass, towards the Bridge split the Coils To a 70’s position. Versatility of the sound is superb with this switch.
The other Toggle Switch is for the Mid frequencies down is 250 Hz, 400 hz and 1 Khz.
