This beautiful bass ties all of its’ features together to make a great looking, flexible playing, awesome sounding bass. The hand carved figured maple top, the crushed stone fret markers, the figured maple peghead and truss rod cover, and even the strings and pickups all add their “reds” to this unique instrument.
The electronics include the EMG PJX Set providing flexibility and a wide range of tonal combinations. Active Set up with Neck Volume, Bridge Volume and Master Tone, EMG's PX adds warmth, and punch, while the LJX provides a tight mid-range with high end response for a well-defined attack. These pickups are low noise and and all cavities are shielded to ensure noiseless operation.
The woods used include figured Mahogany body, full figured Maple top and peghead, Mahogany ¼ sawn neck, Ebony fretboard. Hardware includes Hipshot Ultralite Gold Tuning Machines and Hipshot Individual bridges.
To ensure a long life, it has Stainless Steel Low-Wide frets. It has a very solid bolt-on neck with brass inserts and a dual action truss rod.
It has a super high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
