I have a Meatsmoke rackmount Pre and the Gamma Bass OD, two different animals. You should own both, just saying. :)

P.S.: I am in no way affiliated with aRandomAggie, I just happen to like my Gamma, and my Meatsmoke pre as well :)

I've run into you a lot, nshuman, and we seem to like similar sounds. I'll have to seriously consider this.

Btw, when I was typing your user name, it got auto corrected to "baby man", which is hilarious.

Trade you a mooer chorus and a Seymour Duncan paranormal for your phat Phuk..?

More love for the Gamma here. Snatch it up, folks! Great OD, very tweakable in its range. Nothing else quite like it!

Yeah, mine is off my board right now and I am going to get a bigger secondary board so I can get it back on :)

I feel you. Off my main board too, but I have space for one more pedal on it! Gotta find a way to use that thing!

In the interest of full disclosure, my not using this pedal has NOTHING to do with its quality. It's low gain awesomeness, but being in a metal band, low-gain isn't on the menu much. But I WILL find a way to work this in somehow!

Yeah, I have a lot of OD and removed it just to put more fuzz on my board but regret it. It will be back on my board soon. Although, JohnK is building even more pedals for me, so, I don't know what will happen :)

Also, again, people should buy this!

That demo sounds really good
That demo is a really good representation of what this thing actually sounds like. IME, a lot of online sound clips of OD/distortion/fuzz vary from what I hear from the actual pedal. I listened to that demo a bunch before I bought the Gamma, and it gives you a really good idea of what this bad boy sounds like. For not having a clean blend knob, it lets through a lot of the natural character of your bass.

Dang, now I almost want to find a use for this thing and keep it...

Someone buy it before I change my mind. Again.
