Up for sale is my Ken Smith BSR5GN. Built in 1999. No trades please.
This Smith is in fantastic condition, with very minor wear around knobs and pickups from skin oil and one very tiny ding on the tail. Frets are great. Can be set up with incedibley low action. This bass features a graphite reinforced neck. I've never had to touch the truss rod. The top is beautiful, almost translucent, as it has a bit of a shimmer in bright light (this is right around the time Ken started using upgraded maple tops, as the standard) The core is walnut, which is my favorite on Smith basses (and rare) as it really adds some bite to the notes and keeps the low B focused. This has the best low B string of all the Smith's that I've owned, and the reason I kept it. Has always worn Ken Smith Medium strings. I've oiled the board and body every month, so there are no issues.

-Tiger maple top/back, Walnut core
-9volt pre-amp
-9.8 pounds on bathroom scale (best I can do). BSR Body balances well, so weight is not much of an issue.
