For sale Kubicki Key Factor 5

For Sale: '95 Red Kubicki Key Factor 5 string, serial no. 0100. 900 B/O shipped CON/US with a gig bag. This bass will turn 20 this year, and I have owned it for about 12 of those years. It's been a good run and I got a lot of use out of the bass (and it shows), but I am primarily a fretless player now, and it barely sees any use. All in all, the bass is in pretty good shape given its age, and has no major flaws, save for the standard amount of buckle rash, and a spot on the back of the neck where it looks like the gloss finish has become scuffed (see pics). There is also a slight blemish on the neck (pictured). I have made a couple of modifications to it: I installed a new nut to accomadate EADGC tuning (it has since been filed to standard BEADG slot thickness), and I added a string tree.

The bass will ship in a gig bag (not original)

For trades, I would consider (with cash on my end): A nice acoustic fretless (Taylor/Klein, anyone?), Acoustic Image ten2, or any studio gear (mics, pres, etc...)
