These were on my P-bass for about 6 months, so they're perfectly broken in. Gauges are .049 .069 .089 .109, one gauge thinner than the "Jamerson" set. Snug fit in the nut, but no nut filing necessary for these.
I play with a relatively light touch and always wiped them down. They are smooth as glass! The silk is a little bit frayed, and I can see very faint fret marks here and there, but I cannot feel them. They were stung through the bridge on my P-Bass, and cut with about 2-3 wraps around the tuning posts. $25 shipped on the original packaging.
