Here is a rare Lakland 55-14 with a 34” scale. These are typically 35" scale but this one was custom ordered from the factory with a 34" scale. It was built in late 2019 according to Brian at Lakland.
The B string is really strong and the whole bass resonates very well. The tone is even across all strings/up and down the neck. Ash body, quarter sawn maple neck with ebony board. Excellent sustain and mwah. No dings, dents or scratches that I can find. It still has the plastic on the control cavity cover!
It weighs in at 8 pounds 10 ounces on my digital scale and comes with a hard shell case.
Price includes shipping to CONUS.
Open to trades +/- cash depending on value. Primary interest is 34" or 34.5" scale fretted or fretless 5 strings. Prefer the weight to be close to 9.5 lbs or lighter with 18mm string spacing (although I will consider 19mm depending on the bass).
