If interested, I also have most of the rest of the parts to make a complete bass. I have a 5A Quilted maple top ($225), Alder body blank ($125), Villex jazz pickups/pots ($150). All you will need is a bridge, strap pins, and maybe a jack.

*edit* turns out villex pickups are emg40 sized, not jazz sized.

Was this Marcus Willett's bass.
Already answered but yup.

It was the first time I had any dealings with Chris, I had a bass I wasn't happy with the neck on, so I had Chris build me this one. He did a great job (he did not want to include his logo since he was not building a whole bass) and I've since had Chris build me 3 other basses. I have nothing but great things to say about Chris Stambaugh basses.

Got a pretty decent quote from Chris to build a body out of the parts I have but my wedding tapped me out.
It's a shame you can't just hold on to the parts. Even a year or two, down the road you could still have it put together and have a great bass, but I can understand if that's not an option.

Marcus, do you remember how you filled the gap between the neck and body?
