Howdy TB. The clear out continues...
For sale is a MA Soundworks MAS18 speaker cabinet. This is one of the earlier models, possibly the OG, but not sure. I got it here in late 2021:
SOLD - MAS 18
17" tall, 10 1/2" wide, 15" deep on the bottom X 9 3/4" deep on the top.
8 ohms Impedance
Frequency response: -3db at 35 hz to 14khz.
One Speakon connector on back, second on the side.
Carrying handle mounted on the back.
As shown in the pics, there is some minor scuffing/scratches on the metal corners, but the cab is otherwise in very good cosmetic condition.
I have only used this cab a handful of times at practice and never pushed it hard. However, the first time I used this was on a gig with a new-to-me power amp. Unfortunately, there was an unknown problem with the power amp which caused a power surge or whatever and it blew the 1x8 driver.
The nightmare that followed had me try to replace the OEM custom Eminence driver with a Faital and then a Claire, both of which were recommended to me by Mike as upgrades. Although they might have been, neither my tech nor I could get either of them to fit or work with the cab. In trying to get them to fit, some new holes were drilled into the plywood to which the 1x8 is attached. The additional holes have not affected the playability of the cab.
One other minor thing: The tech forgot to put the grill back with screws, but because it stays in place without rattling, I didn't make a stink about it; just be sure not to lay the cab down on the grill side or you'll have to pull it back out.
Eventually, I was able to get from Mike and install one of the custom Eminence 1x8 drivers that were used in the original/early models that he still had on hand. I had a choice to get a 4 or 8 ohm Eminence and the cab has a 4 ohm driver installed.
$425 Paypal F&F or Venmo F&F, plus shipping CONUS only. The cab's price reflects the fact that the cab has an essentially brand new 1x8 driver and comes with a new LeCover which is loose fitting but at least keeps dust and scratches away. I'm taking it in the shorts with this one.

Sorry, not interested in any trades.
Thanks for looking and making it all the way through this ridiculously long post. DM
