Big dummy that I am, when I switched to Perpetuals over the summer, my luthier put them on for me but didn't have a low C string so he mailed it to me separately.
Big dummy that I am, I put it somewhere under a pile of music and couldn't find it, so I ordered myself a new one last week.
Then the old one - that would be the old new one - turned up before I'd had a chance to put the new new one on. I just put the older new one on my bass, and I now have a brand new, in package, low C Perpetual that I don't need. Bought from Shar one week ago:
