*SALE PENDING* My playing needs have started to change over the last year or so, and I’m finding I no longer need the “old American ply” sound in the way that I used to.
New Standard Cleveland ply #375, made in 2012. This has been my main gigging bass since 2017, as it was for the previous owner before that. Very lightweight and resonant. It has its share of wear, as a gigging bass should, but is structurally excellent and has been maintained by Les White (Honeytone Bass Clinic) over the years. 42” string length, D neck.
A few upgrades/add-ons of note:
Bass is located in Seattle, and I’m willing to drive a reasonable distance (reasonable is TBD) for a very interested party, especially if you have a bass I’m interested in.

A few upgrades/add-ons of note:
- Strings are Evah Gold (Slap) E/A and Aquila Red Springs wound gut D/G, which are inspired by the classic Red-O-Rays. I will include the E & A from this set, as well. ($350)
- Northern Lutherie “Da Crusher” pickup (NOTE: the Realist Docking Station seen in the photos is not included - I just forgot to remove it prior to photographing). ($90)
- New Harmony carbon fiber endpin ($155)
- Messina custom cover ($595)
