I just took these strings off a bass that I had purchased a month or two ago. Obviously the D string is something different from the others, but I will sell these to the first person who wants them for the cost of postage plus a dollar. They still worked when I took them off, they still sounded okay and the mismatched string didn’t sound noticeably mismatched.
