For sale Roscoe 6 string 34" scale

This bass is in really great condition, the finish looks like new and it sounds as good as it looks. I got it a few months back here in talkbass.
I am just willing to let it go because I need a 6 string fretless. So the only trade I would consider is a 6 string fretless 34" scale with 18mm string spacing or narrower, I would prefer a Pedulla Hexabuzz, but I am open to any other bass with the specs I mentioned, also interested in 6 string fretted Ken Smiths. The bass includes original hard case.

In case I don't receive the trade offer I am looking for I would let it go for $2,200 shipped in the US.

I will get the exact weight for you tomorrow, since I m not at home for this weekend I can't tell right now.
The bass is very light weight compared to my other six string basses.

The bass is 9lb.

Damn. This was for sale back when I was fresh off a Yellowjackets concert. I wanted it badly back then. Here it is gain. I had a Roscoe a few months ago but the 35" scale wasn't my thing. Now that a 34" is available, I am no longer gigging. Cruel, cruel world.

What are the woods and electronics on this again?

Made over the summer of 2007.
34" scale ("off the menu" option). Yes, I am sure it is has a thirty four inch scale. I ordered it.
Ebony fretboard (now a $1000, yes, $1k, upcharge)
Diamondwood nut
Maple/Purpleheart neck with cherry and maple accents
Mahogany body with figured maple top (short story)
Roscoe Bartolini OEM pickups
Bartolini 3 band EQ
Volume/Blend/Mid(push/pull mid shift)/Bass&Treble stack
Dunlop dual design straplocks

Roscoe experts, how will the tone of this bass be, especially the mids? I thought they were a little too pronounced on my previous Roscoe.

Bump for a real Black Beauty! Great deal for someone.

This one would have some booty to the tone with the mahogany body and ebony finger board. I'd say very huge sounding.

I'm not an expert but I've owned a few of them. The mids were really pronounced in all 5 I have owned and more so with the Bartolini electronics. I was able to tone it down some with different electronics. In the end though, I think these basses are all about those great mids.

Why does this continue to be available? I am trying to decide which direction to go - good old passive 4 string jazz, or kick it up a notch and go for a 6 string. Argh!!
