Here is an exquisite piece. This one is in virtually like-new condition. I hesitate to say mint condition but you'd be hard pressed to find a mark on it.
• Exhibition grade burled myrtle top (with some spalting and quilting too)
• One-piece Spanish Cedar body. That's right. A one piece body.
• Bubinga fingerboard (not common at all)
• Roscoe Audere preamp with 4-band eq (Bass/Treble stack, high mids and low mids stack, pickup pan, volume). 3-way Z-mode switch to alter tones even further
• Roscoe Bartolini pickups
This Roscoe is punchy and very versatile. The Audere provides a whole lot of tonal options and I love how quiet it is. There is almost a Ken Smith like "burp" and punch to this thing. And plenty of bottom end punch. If you've ever played a Roscoe you know how strong the B-strings are.
Now for the eye candy.
I'm very reluctant to put this up in the classifieds but a bass of high interest to me has become available. $2500 OBO shipped CONUS with Roscoe hardshell case. Case is in excellent condition but has a couple of scuffs. Otherwise looks basically unused.
