Details

Selling this incredible bass only because I've found another that fits me a bit better. I really thought I'd hang on to this one forever, but that never really happens :bag: This is seriously the nicest Roscoe SKB I've seen, in my personal opinion, and plays and sounds soooo good. Action is very low, and, of course, the B is absolutely monstrous! The condition is excellent (>8.5/10) as it has very light wear on the sides of the fretboard, one small chip/ding on the back of the bass, one small scratch on the back of the neck (treble side), and two small spots underneath the G and D string where there is some clouding in the finish. It comes with the Roscoe hybrid soft case with no logo on it; not a gigbag, but rather like the Sadowsky case.

Specs:
  • 35" scale
  • 43 mm nut width
  • 18.3 mm string spacing
  • Madrone Burl top (not that it matters much, but this is a fairly rare top for a Roscoe)
  • Birdseye maple fretboard
  • Spanish Cedar body
  • Clear gloss finish
  • Bartolini pickups
  • Bartolini NTMB 3-band 18V preamp (with 3-position mid switch, rather than the typical 2-way)
  • Weight is somewhere between 9-9.5lbs
Asking $2000 shipped. Not interested in trades at the moment (but thanks for the offers so far). I've included pictures of the most egregious signs of use below as attachments.

I miss that blue leather couch, but I miss this bass more. :)

I owned this bass for a while and it is absolutely killer. I almost bought it back twice and would grab it now if I had the $$$. This bass kills and looks even better in person.

34 or 35 scale? I play Tobias Killer B's....34 17.5 but like this one a lot. I live on the other side of the state from you.

Hey! This bass has typical Roscoe specs, so it has a longer scale and a bit wider string spacing than your killer-B.

Bonita Springs and Miami are less than 2hours away from each other :) If you decide to buy, I don't mind meeting up halfway at all.
