It seemed like any other day...I was a bit restless and nervous feeling. Work had been nightmarishly crushing lately and I needed an escape. I set up the decoy and went out back into the underground bunker. Who needed lunch after that massive breakfast of 3 eggs, 3 sausages, 3 bacon slices (mmmmmm...bacon) and a giant bowl of poutine anyway?
I wandered past the stockpile of toilet paper from early COVID (that still took up 2 rooms) and meandered towards the music room. It was there...between the Broughtons and pile of glitchers, there she sat...cockeyed but still majestically centered atop the pile, like the star on a Christmas tree...the ODB handmade by Dunwich Audio. The mean skull in that massive box. She stands taller than any other pedal on the board and owns her position among the meanest and dirtiest. The missing piece for my board! THAT’S the overdrive I want on this board I said to myself and I snatched it up, grabbed a patch cable, and an RCA power cable for the Cioks and headed through the corridor, around the spiral stairs through the wooden doors with the unexplained burn mark towards the jam area.
It was there that I attempted to fit the ODB...and a I say attempted because the available space only afforded a 125B and alas, this monster is far wider. I sat down and began to cry. Three days and seven nights I wept...wondering how would I ever correct this tragedy? It was on that fortnight that I felt a buzz from my phone and looked down to see a private message from @kranahan. The rest...as they say...is history.

Another smooth local deal with K-Man. He was a true champ, volunteering to deal with Empress on getting the fix to deal with pops. Would happily deal with again. Thanks again and enjoy.
