This is NOT a Metro. This is a legit NYC body and neck.
To satisfy the Japan market, Sadowsky opened the Tokyo shop. It was cheaper to send “parts” to Japan than completed instruments, and have final assembly and set up done in Japan.
Full size Ash body and maple neck/fingerboard.
70’s pickup spacing.
Sadowsky 2 band “Tokyo” preamp (treble is boost/cut).
“small” front pickup cover. Tiny ding on front. Some slight discoloration on back of neck. Ding on end of headstock.
Amazing bass.
