Sandberg Florence Ruby Red Aged with Bag
Sold this bass to a TB friend and now have it back.
This bass is a light aged from the Sandberg factory that I bought from a friend and I just need to clear out some stuff.
Bass is aged, so there are some marks on the surface to the body and neck.
Fender Jazz control knobs have been replaced with original knobs as in second picture but will be provided.
Bass is ruby red with maple on maple neck. Comes wearing LaBella low tension flats. And all chrome parts have been aged to look older.
My previous owner took out the original control and updated with controls as on a precision bass. Bass sounds like a P bass with the tone at about 70%.
Previous owner has provided original volume and push/pull tone pots to replace to original setup. These were bought from Sandberg thru a Sandberg dealer here in the US. The caps were also bought but not Sandberg caps. Also has larger aged knobs to match up with the pots. I will provide a picture of the standard wiring from my other Florence bass.
Bass plays and sounds great. With truss rod with no issues. I like low action since I am a light player.
The white under the slits on the pick guard is only a piece of white paper that can be removed.
If you do not know, Sandberg uses stickers to put on the headstock for their name and model of bass. As in my other Florence that I bought used – both basses were missing the last “E” in Florence. If it bothers you – you might contact Sandberg.
Comes with standard Sandberg Long scale bag. Weight 7 pounds 5 oz on a kitchen scale.
