Returned high $$ new studio pedal after buyers regret, didn’t like the way it sounded with his setup. Requested full refund (See additional comments) 100% documented via PM.

18 years trading/buying selling high-end gear in all high-end forums, GS, TGP, Reverb etc.. First time giving a negative feedback, ever (I have never received myself and it was a difficult decision to give) But I would feel remiss and irresponsible to the community if I did not. First time someone lied / took advantage of my generosity to get clear of buyers regret.

High-end studio pedal, sent new. Buyer said the pedal ‘introduced’ bad noise into his signal chain. I offered 100% refund if pedal was defective. Buyer would not confirm. I asked again, buyer would not confirm.

I said I could not be responsible for the return/ refund and buyers regret if it was quiet and perfectly functioning, but buyer just didn’t like it. Without responding to whether the pedal was defective or not buyer sent pedal back for full refund. Tested immediately (videoed) Quiet, pristine - studio quality. I am sure I had some recourse, but I issued the refund to be done. Today I decided to post this feedback for others. I trusted buyers long history with positive feedback, as he did mine. Still he did this - sellers be mindful with this buyer now.
