Wenge BODY (that's a first for me!) with a BEAUTIFUL laminated Amboyna Burl top and back
Wenge neckthrough (with Paduk wood stringers) and a great phenolic fingerboard. As if Wenge and Phenolic were not strong enough the bass has also two graphite rods inside the neck for extra stiffness. Very stable neck that is not going anywhere !
Gloss finish, gold hardware and gold knobs, EMG 40 pickups, Dunlop straplocks, 35 inch scale and a Glockenklang 3 band preamp. All the tone is there : big, articulate, bright and beautiful.
Weight is 10.6 pounds on my scale.
