Baird6869 is simply a class act gentleman to work with. So I'm back from Japan and the bass is great - and thanks for the exceptional packing job. Regrettably, I might not be able to keep it as I'm having almost like an allergic reaction to the fretboard, particularly the scent. I don't get it - I've had other pau ferro boards, one of which (a Sadowsky metro) was my main player for most of the last 5 years, but nothing like this. Totally frustrating as the axe is otherwise pretty much ideal - quickly able to dial in an eq profile that lets me get a nice range of tones solely by right-hand placement/technique and pickup pan. Will leave it out on a stand and see how this develops... But again, thanks for an exceptional transaction - you've been an ace!
