I'm proud to be positive feedback #345, one of the highest on TB, for the one and only Lenny. When I bought a JMJ Mustang from him in November 2022, it was one of the finest and most enjoyable experiences I'd had on TB. When I sold the same bass back to him in April 2023 (long story)... same.
Lenny is about as nice, thorough and honest as they come, folks.
And I'm happy to call his wife a friend too. I've never met Lenny in person, but have hung briefly with Rhonda twice when she handed off the bass to me last year and re-took possession recently. (Now, THAT is a wife who somehow deals with the G.A.S. thing. )
How does someone collect 334 positive reviews on TalkBass? By doing a lot of buying and selling, of course, but also by being a superstar of honesty, generosity, value, and communication.
I had been GAS'ing for a JMJ Mustang for a while, and bit fast on Lenny's offer that came with some great extras (like upgraded pickup and strings). The deal was a bit complicated, though, because Lenny and I agreed that in lieu of shipping, I'd drive 45 minutes from my home to pick up the bass from his wife, who coincidentally would be passing through North Carolina a few days later on an interstate trip. So Lenny and I ended up talking a lot on the phone. We shared enjoyable conversations about a slew of topics, bass and otherwise.
The handoff from Lenny's wife went like clockwork. And I just love the bass. AND it turns out there were even *more* extras than Lenny first listed. Just wow.
Lenny is a superstar TalkBass member, the type who really makes this place a community. Thank you, sir.

Jaime was wonderful from start to finish. I'm glad this special Sadowsky Metro went to such a good guy. Hope you enjoy this beauty as much as I did, Jaime!
