I have a Warwick Corvette Standard 5 bass for sale, you can see the serial #, it is from 1999, with the West Germany tuning keys. The body is Bubinga with the natural matte/oil finish, neck is Ovangkol, and fretboard is Wenge. It has the original bell brass frets, and chrome hardware.
It is a heavy bass, without a doubt, but it sounds fantastic, with all the distinctive tone that a German Warwick is known for. The build quality is great, it has definitely been played and has some of the minor wear and tear that a 20 year old instrument would be expected to, but it plays perfectly, and has no major issues. It will most likely need a set up unless you like to play with high action and string tension, as it is currently set up that way due to my own playing style and preferences.
