I was a previous owner of this bass and I had Kent Armstrong build me a new pair of pickups for it. He wound them the same as the originals. That's why you don't see all the wear in the newer photos. I absolutely loved this bass but it was just a bit too heavy for my almost 65 year old back. It's an amazing instrument in every way. It's also quite rare because it's a neck-through model. Xotic no longer makes them like this. If you are a rock or jazz/fusion kind of player this bass will blow you away IMO. Someone is going to be very happy with this one.....

Wow that's my old bass!! I would be the original owner! Great bass & yes it'll serve whoever gets it well. I most definitely miss it. That's actually a Madrone Burl top & back as well as on the head stock. The fingerboard is Kingwood. Wish I was in a position to make an offer. Best of luck with the sale!
