Yamaha BB2000 in excellent players condition for sale. The bass is super clean and professionally set up. It looks, plays and sounds terrific. The bass weighs 9 lbs 12 oz. I had the factory case latches replaced, the middle latch is working but it will need replacement eventually, also the handle is a little ragged. This is a rare and fantastic old bass in great condition.

I am surprised it has been posted this long honestly, the price is right and these Yamaha's are just outstanding instruments.
Build quality rivals boutique basses four times the price, neck is super fast and it has sustain for days. Hands down the best passive 4 bass in my stable next to my Precision Select.
Mine will not go anywhere, someone should get this bass before I do something crazy.

@Matt R does this have a bigger P-width type neck or more narrow like a Jazz?

Someone snag this bass,
these are the best basses money can buy in the under $1000 price range.
Tone to die for and sustain for africa!
No joke, I would buy it just to have it next to my natural finish one.

I've always kind of wanted to have a white BB2000 with gold hardware like Nathan East used to play back in the day. That, and a Rick 4008 (8-string bass) are 2 basses I played at NAMM shows centuries ago but never got to own or even play elsewhere.
