Good amp techs in Orlando that I know of:
Brian Hendrix---Hendrix Sound, Kissimmee FL
Birddog Bobby---Chuluota, FL (only works on tube amps)
There is one tech in Orlando that people should stay completely far away from...I don't really want to mention his name, but I will mention his business...Wells Electronics Lab, Orlando.

I'm in the NY/LI area and the only guy I'd trust with my Hiwatts is:
Jack Kivolowitz of RockNRoll Amps
He works on tube amps, and also builds his own tube line.
VERY knowledgable, quick turnaround and resonable prices... best I've worked with in 30+ years.

i'm in thousand oaks and i have restored tons of SVT's and V4's over the last 30+ years. if anyone needs repairs in my area i could help them with one.

Sorry I moved to Az a few years ago, don't know the shops left out in Ca. No one really good in Ventura county after I left? Someone from the land of LA will speak up.
There you go! Don't overlook us independant private guys, I still have a few people driving 700 miles round trip!

In the Rochester, NY area, John Nau at NAU Engineering.
He's rebuilt amps and fixed them for me with extremely reasonable prices, an average of a 2 day turn around and has a great ear.

They do Repairs, Warranty work and modifications.
Carlos was a Tube Design Engineer with St. Louis Music, designing amplifiers for their Crate, Ampeg, and V-Series brands.
He designed the Ampeg SVT-6 Pro and helped me with mine.
Very Professional and excellent customer service.
I could not refer a better source.
Knowing they are an Ampeg service center makes buying a new Ampeg safe!
